On the Mount of Beatitudes – Stillness

The artist obtained permission to walk down into the lemon and grapefruit groves on the slopes of the Mount of Beatitudes, which he had often visited in the past with his family when they all lived in Israel back in the 80’s. This emotional experience was enhanced by the stillness of the day and the dramatic effects of light reaching out past the church on the Mount and across the Sea of Galilee.
