The Old City, Jerusalem – The Souk behind me

This plate was engraved in situ at a pleasantly cool and calm position at the top end of the bustling narrow street of the old city souk of Jerusalem looking towards a courtyard of the Holy Sepulcure. Happy to be able to capture a moment of peace from the noisy, haggling environment just yards away, the artist here realised an image-making experience he had longed to have for many years. Much of the artist’s teenage life-experience occurred in Israel.
